WooCommerce POS is now available on iPhone for stores based in the United Kingdom. WooCommerce announced the release, letting merchants browse their catalog, build a cart, and take payment on the phone they already carry, with sales syncing to their WooCommerce store right away.
What you can do with it
The headline feature is Tap to Pay on iPhone. Your phone itself becomes the card reader, so a customer taps their card or phone against yours to pay, with no extra hardware to buy or carry. If you’d rather use dedicated hardware, the app also supports a WisePad 3 card reader, and it accepts cash payments directly too.
For card payments, you’ll need WooPayments or Stripe connected to your store. Once that’s set up, your product catalog loads into the app automatically, so there’s no separate setup for in-person selling.
Who this is for
This matters most if you sell in person: at a market stall, a pop-up shop, a craft fair, or alongside an online store. Instead of running a separate till system or a standalone card machine, you get one WooCommerce catalog and one set of sales records, whether the sale happened on your website or on your phone.
How to get it
The feature is available now to UK-based merchants running iOS 26 or later. Update to the latest version of the WooCommerce app, then tap the POS tab. Your products should load in automatically.
WooCommerce hasn’t said when the feature will expand beyond the UK.
